New Flats (3 for $10!)

I was shopping earlier this week and I went to Ardene's and they were having a sale on shoes! 

I love shoes and when I saw that they were 3 for $10, I couldn't resist. Plus they had some super cute styles too! 

Of course most of the sizes left were super big, but I did find some cute ones left in my size. 

I saw the blue/gold tassel ones first and they were in a 6! I had to get them, and then I tried the red suede ones on; they're super cute and perfect for a polished look. 

The silver ones are TOMS look-a-likes, and at first I wasn't going to get them, but I love the way they sparkle! It adds a bit of glam to any simple outfit, and they were super comfy! 

$3.33 for a pair of flats is such a steal of a deal!

Happy Valentine's Day & Some Cute Ideas!

Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you all had a lovely day, with the perfect excuse to buy more chocolate!

Here's what I made for my boyfriend! I bought him a scarf and attached these 3 little gifts. I got all these ideas from amazing people on Youtube and from the internet. The first one is a without YOU my life would SUCK tag with a heart-shaped lolly attached to it. I know, it's a little on the cheesy side, but I thought it was cute enough to make it. 

      It was pretty simple, just took some card stock, hot glued and glittered the letters and then tied the lolly to it. He laughed when he saw it, seeing the giant YOU SUCK first, then the actual message =) 

Then to the side is the lottery card/scratch game. This was just so cute, I knew I had to try it! Plus I always loved scratching those lotto tickets and grocery ones when I was younger. I printed the template out from online, wrote my secret messages, coloured over them with white crayon and then mixed a 2:1 paint to dish-washing detergent and painted it on. 

He really loved this one, and spent a while trying to decide when heart to choose! 

The last one is just another lottery card, but I put it into a folded piece of card stock and added a little message into the side and some chocolate of course!   


Now to what he got me! He got me this gorgeous Swarovski necklace! This is the first piece of Swarovski that I have ever gotten and it's beautiful. It came neatly wrapped in silver foil with a Swarvoski ribbon tied in a bow on top, I was too excited and forgot to take a picture of it before I opened it =P 

I love it<3

Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year! It is the year of the Snake and I wish everyone good health and prosperity in this new lunar year!

This is my dinner from yesterday night when I celebrated with my family. Some good Chinese take out! There's fried rice, noodles, egg and shrimp and pork chops.

I also got this amazing iced lemon tea when we went to see the lion dance today and it was so yummy!

So happy Chinese New Year!
